Saturday we visited a Pumpkin patch in Fort Worth. We went with Cousin Alex, and had a blast!"Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one."
something new.
My silly girl!
At our 20th Golf Benefit on September 14, Mimi brought Caroline out the course. She had so much fun riding around the course on the golf cart. She was definitely a hit with the golfers!
This past weekend, Josh had his first weekend of his PE study class, and we all traveled to Houston. Caroline always loves to "GO." In fact, she is now using the word in context! I should have known one of her first words would have been go. So, when we loaded up to leave town--she was ready! She had her toys, bag of food, and her music.
Butterfly exhibit!

Whew! I cannot believe that summer has come and gone. I am really behind in putting up new pictures of Caroline. Since her birthday, we have had lots of visitors or been visiting family & friends, and been busy keeping up with "Little Miss."
She is walking well--almost running now, and into everything.
She is talking more than ever, except we still cannot understand a word. It sounds like a mix of Japanese & French, but, she knows what she is talking about...of course!
Wonder Pets & Jack's Big Music Show, and LOVES THEM! She dances, claps & stomps her feet when the intros come on. Even though her attention span is that of a gnat, she perks up each time she hears the music. Recently, her Mimi gave her "Pablo" & "Uniqua," characters from the Backyardigans, and you would have thought that the cartoon came to life and walked into the room! It was too precious.
Over Labor Day weekend, we took Caroline to the Zoo. I think she had a grand time. The weather was decent, and not too hot. She especially thought she was "big stuff" riding the carousel.

She loved all her presents!

Our "Bun" is ONE...
Caroline will be a year in one week! We cannot believe how quickly that this year has flown by. She has taken her first few steps, but still a little "unsure" of herself. I do miss her being a baby, but each new day brings a new adventure.

She also loves her swimming pool. We have been able to enjoy it more lately with the cessation of the rain.
